My heart hurt Tuesday when I first saw the news: New York Senate and Assembly have legalized abortion through the third trimester.
Not only did they legalize it, but they celebrated it. A room full of people erupted with joy and applause as they declared victory in having the power to eliminate the powerless—unborn children.
This is the sound from the NY Senate chamber after the 38-24 vote to:
– Add abortion to the NY Constitution
– Allow non-physicians to commit abortions
– Allow abortion through third trimester
– Repeal protections for surviving babies

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo proudly signed the Reproductive Health Act into law and celebrated with his fellow “victors.”
Under the new law, third-trimester abortion will be allowed when a preborn child is diagnosed with a condition that will cause him or her to die at or shortly after birth. In addition, the new law removes protections for babies born alive after an abortion— meaning, they could be left to die after birth.
Guys, this isn’t public health. This isn’t even women’s health. This is genocide.
We’re giving people the power to “play God,” and justify murder as a means of legalized freedom.
Our God is a God of miracles. Think about the babies who doctors said would never live to take their first breath— the ones who today, are living, breathing, walking miracles.
