Bindi Irwin has a lot to celebrate this week! She and hubby Chandler Powell welcomed their “Wildlife Warrior” on Thursday, March 25th—the same day as their first wedding anniversary!

“Celebrating the two loves of my life,” Bindi captioned a photo of her and Chandler cradling their little girl Friday morning. “Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter.”

Bindi went on to share their daughter’s name, and the meaning behind it.

“Grace Warrior Irwin Powell,” she wrote. “Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light.”

She continued, “Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad.”

The 22-year-old said that Grace “chose the perfect day to be born,” adding that she and Chandler feel “tremendously blessed.”

Chandler shared a similar series of photos announcing his daughter’s arrival, calling it “the best moment of [his] life.”

“Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. After waiting for you to arrive for the last 9 months, finally meeting you has been the best moment of my life,” he wrote on Instagram. “You have a big life ahead of you and no matter what, you will be surrounded by a whole lot of love. Thank you for gracing your beautiful mother and me on our wedding anniversary, so excited to have you home.”

Last year, just days after the world had seemingly shut down due to Covid-19, Bindi and Chandler tied the knot in a small wedding ceremony with just their families at the Australia Zoo on March 25th.

“Today we celebrated life and revelled in every beautiful moment we shared together in our Australia Zoo gardens,” she wrote on Instagram. “Mum helped me get ready, Robert walked me down the aisle, Chandler became my husband and together we lit a candle in Dad’s memory. We shared tears and smiles and love. Thankfully, since we all live at Australia Zoo as a family, we could be there for each other. To everyone reading this — stay safe, social distance and remember LOVE WINS!”

Congratulations to the happy couple on their bundle of joy and a year of marriage bliss!
