Chip and Joanna Gaines are back, and better than ever!
Our favorite renovation duo appear this week in a new trailer for “Fixer Upper: Welcome Home,” which premieres Jan. 29 on the Discovery+ streaming service. It’s all part of their forthcoming Magnolia Network, part of the Discovery+ family.
“All right, baby girl, we are back at it,” Chip tells Joanna in one scene from the new clip.
The show appears to include everything we once loved about the former Fixer Upper– old houses, Demo Day, shiplap, Chip’s quirkiness, Joanna’s incredible eye for design, and a whole lot more home-reno surprises in store.
After two and a half years away from the small screen, Chip and Jo seem beyond excited to be returning to the world of home renovations.
“It’s good to get back out here, man. We love doing this for a living,” Chip says in the trailer.
“It’s getting to do what I love best, which is really help the homeowners with their house and turning it into their dream home,” Joanna adds.
The couple and parents of five said goodbye to their TV life back in 2018 when they decided to take a step back from HGTV’s Fixer Upper, and refocus on what was most important to them: family.
In 2019, they made all of our dreams come true with the announcement that they’d be launching their own television network, Magnolia Network–a partnership between Discovery, inc., and the Gaines’ own existing Magnolia lifestyle brand.
Magnolia Network is set to launch later this year with a whole slate of shows from fan favorites like Johnnyswim, Dude Dad, and even a cooking show hosted by Joanna herself!
