Everyone’s favorite home wreckers, I mean um, home renovators, Chip and Joanna Gaines, made much news late last year when they announced both the cancellation of their hit show, Fixer Upper, and their newest project — baby #5! As their due date draws near, they’ve also revealed the baby’s gender — in a most unconventional way.

Wednesday, Chip took to Twitter to introduce followers to the couple’s new friend, Gage, an adorable little boy they met at the Tim Tebow Foundation golf outing. The Tebow Foundation raises funds for people with disabilities, and the Gaines were there to support the cause and meet some great people, like Gage, from the disability community. In the video below, Chip asks Gage to help  him think of a name for the baby, thereby allowing Gage to reveal the baby’s gender. I won’t spoil it though, I’ll let Gage tell YOU too:

That’s right, baby Gaines #5 is a BOY! Gaines says in the video:

“We’re just about to have another little baby because Uncle Chip lost his mind … I can’t think of a ‘D’ name. Can you help me think of a ‘D’ name?” Chip asked Gage while on the golf field at the Tebow Foundation event.  “Is that a secret? I don’t know, that might not even be allowed on Twitter. It’s a little boy and I need a ‘D’ name and so far, all I could come up with was Dragon, and she’s like, ’You are not calling that baby Dragon!’ Can you help me?”

The Gaines’ two sons, Drake and Duke (obviously) have “D” names, while their two daughters’ have “E” monikers – Emme and Ella. So, “D” it is for baby # 5. Hey Chip and JoJo, I’m REALLY good at naming kids, can I chime in? I’m going to say: David, Donovan, Daniel. Dominic, Douglas, Dean, Derek, Davis, or Drew (I have a nephew named Drew and one named Daniel and they’re fantastic so those are best bets.)

Congrats to the Gaines’ (and all the extra publicity for the Tebow Foundation, AM I RIGHT??) on their baby boy – can’t wait to hear what name they choose! You guys KNOW I’ll keep you posted!
