3 Easy Thanksgiving Crafts to Make With Your Kids

We love these three creative yet simple Thanksgiving crafts that make celebrating this season even more fun.

The season of giving thanks is here, and we’re always looking for ways to make it memorable and meaningful for our kids. These days, of course, that means jumping on Pinterest and snagging the best craft ideas to DIY some Thanksgiving bonding time. (Speaking of Pinterest, are you following us yet? Get on that!) The team at For Every Mom has made it a bit easier for you this year—we’ve put together a short list of our favorite crafts for you to do with the kiddos from around the web—check these out and let us know which ones you decide to make!

Bubble Wrap Turkey

We found this beautiful bird at Crafty Morning. Isn’t it fabulous? We love the bubble wrap texture and the way it makes the paint colors really pop!

Pilgrim Hat

Nothing makes a story come alive for little kids like some good dress up and role-playing. This simple tutorial at Modern Parents Messy Kids will get you started on a great Pilgrim play adventure!

Bubble Wrap Indian Corn

Oh, look, more bubble wrap! While you’ve still got the bubble wrap out, this bubble wrap Indian corn makes an adorable craft and a cute decoration! Throw in a little history lesson about what kinds of foods the pilgrims and Native Americans ate at the first Thanksgiving and—bam!—you’re practically homeschooling (if you’re not already)! We love this from No Time for Flashcards. I’ve also seen examples of this done with LEGO stamping—the larger Duplo blocks make great stamps.

Do you like to celebrate the Thanksgiving season with a few fun crafts? We’d love to hear about your favorites!
