Single Dad Creates Class to Show Dads How to Do Their Daughter’s Hair—and the Value of Quality Time

This is single dad, Philippe Morgese and his gorgeous daughter Emma. Philippe has been a single dad since Emma was 1, and out of necessity, he taught himself to do her hair. And we’re not talking just a standard ponytail  here! Philippe rocks out girls hairstyles like a pro!

The amazing hairstyles Morgese has created over the years got lots of attention and compliments, and you can see why! Not many dads do daughters hair—especially not like THIS!

(Note: I have been mother to a long-haired daughter for almost nine years and I AIN’T GOT THESE SKILLZ!)

Eventually, Morgese got SO many compliments and comments, he decided to start a class for dads to learn to do their daughters’ hair. “I thought it would be easier to show them in person,”  he said. As a visual learner, I have to agree!

Morgese’s fantastic idea was very well-received and his daddy-daughter hairstyle class was packed!

Philippe bought all the supplies for the class and didn’t charge attendees a cent. It was free for any dad and daughter who showed up! The owner of a local hair design school loved the idea so much, he let them use his facility for free, too! Philippe and Emma also made really sweet gift bags for the dads and daughters to take home and use on their rockin’ hairstyles!

Morgese’s motivation for the class? “”I wanted to make a difference in my community and the best part for me is doing this with my daughter. That bond is incredible.”

I could not love this ANY MORE! Way to go Philippe and Emma! We love to see more dads and daughters  bonding over hair!
