Paula Williams’ son’s dog Kase went missing over a month ago, and the little boy was totally heartbroken. “On Dec. 4 our dog Kase went missing,” the boy’s mother, Paula Williams, told TODAY.com. “We let him outside to go to the bathroom and when we went to let him in he was gone. My son cried and we went searching up and down the street, but couldn’t find him.”
Weeks of searching turned up nothing, and the Williams’ feared they would never see Kase again. Williams’ son, who had picked the dog out when he was a puppy, was totally bereft. To add to the family’s worry, soon after Kase went missing, they had 20 inches of snow in their area and were fearful that Kase might not have survived.
But then, two weeks ago, a miracle happened. Williams saw a school bus in their neighborhood let two little girls off, and a dog bounded up to meet them.
It was Kase. Williams immediately stopped the car and said “That’s my son’s dog!” The family explained that Kase had just shown up one day and that they’d offered him food and shelter from the bad weather. They immediately returned him, and as you can see in the video below, the most heartwarming reunion EVER occurred, more than a month after Kase went missing.
What a wonderful happy ending for a boy and his pup! I gotta admit it, I cried a little at this kiddo’s emotion! Did you?
