This is How You Can Send Cards to the Family Who Lost Their Son to the Alligator at Disney

By now we have all heard the tragic details of the third horrific event in Orlando this week: an accident at Walt Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa where an alligator snatched a 2-year-old playing at the shore of a lagoon as his  horrified family looked on. The child, Lane Graves, was found dead in the waters the next day.

As his family reels with shock and grief, they’ve also had to fend off the ire of the internet and “perfect parents” blaming them for letting this happen to their son. It is my opinion, and the opinion of most others who have been to that lagoon at Disney, that this could happen to anyone. One mom shared her son’s photos taken in the exact spot where Lane was attacked just 30 minutes before in support yesterday, and her message of “Judge less pray more” is spreading like wildfire.

To show SUPPORT and COMPASSION,  not judgement for the Graves family, their church parish has announced you can send cards and sympathy messages through the parish. Here is the information to do so, via FOX 13 News in Florida.

I pray these grieving parents are showered with God’s love and comfort and a HUGE show of support from the parenting community at large. I am praying for you, Mr. & Mrs. Graves!
