This Nearly-Blind Baby’s Reaction to Seeing His Mom For the First Time Will Make Your Heart EXPLODE With Joy

This beautiful four-month-old boy, Leopold Wilbur Reppond is clearly a joy to his parents—but this family’s joy just got an indescribable boost! Leo has oculocutaneous albinism, which drastically impairs his sight. His whole little life, he has been using his hands to “see” his parents’ faces.

But little Leo’s world was ROCKED a few days ago when he got glasses to help him see. In this crazy heartwarming video, you’ll see that it takes a few seconds for Leo to realize something is different, but when he does, his unbridled JOY at seeing his mom’s face will KNOCK YOU OVER! I seriously went from straight-faced to blubbering like a baby (no offense Leo!) in less than 30 seconds. This is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen, and I hope it makes your day like it did mine!

Leo’s Dad, David, told the UK Daily Mail that the moment was incredibly emotional.

“I had some issues holding the camera because I was crying so much,” he said.

“I was overwhelmed with emotion. It’s just very touching. You cannot anticipate how you’re going to feel when something like that happens. It was very heartwarming.”

Thank you, Leo, for brightening my day! I hope you love your new glasses, and I know you’ll do on to do great things!

If this made you smile and cry today, please share it with your friends on Facebook!
