This Teacher Just Walked Into Something She Never Thought She’d See, and It Will Move You to Tears

Almost all of us have at least one teacher who truly inspired us in school—I was lucky enough to have several, including my high school French teacher, Madame Ruegsegger. But the truth is, after they say goodbye to their students, most teachers go through life really having no idea what kind of impact they made on their students.

Happily, that is not the case for one Ms. Gabrielyn Watson-Foster. Kleenex had the bright idea to gather a group of former students from Morgan Park High School in Illinois together to honor their former teacher with an amazing choral tribute. Their beautiful rendition of “Amazing Grace” and Ms. Watson’s reaction to seeing her former students—many who graduated over a decade ago—together are a one-two punch right in the TEAR DUCTS!

Whoo-whee! What an emotional and inspiring way to start your day! I think I might just need to write a note to some of my former teachers. Great job, Kleenex—I definitely needed one after watching that!
