We are living for the GOOD news these days as the coronavirus has most of us quarantined to our homes, and isolated from other people.
This week, a new video is going viral for all the right reasons after nurses and hospital staff lined the roof of Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, Georgia, and collectively lifted up praise to the Lord.
In the video, posted by Kimberly Jefferson, dozens of nurses are spread 6-10 feet apart, practicing social distancing around the roof of the medical center. Together, they’re singing along to Leeland’s ‘Waymaker.’
Y’all, you can FEEL the Holy Spirit through this video!

Such a powerful time. There’s no words.
Prayer service over Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, Ga.
Those are doctors and nurses on the roof waving at the crowd of over 800 people (that stayed in their cars) who showed up to pray over them.💜

In times like this, we’re reminded that the church may have left the building, but God has NOT left His church. He is in our midst and even Jesus himself decided that the purpose ahead of him was greater than the pain in front of him. Maybe it’s time that we decided the same thing in our own lives.
The pain that we’re walking through can’t compare to the incredible purpose and joy we’re walking into.
God bless the people on the front lines of this, and may we all walk through this together! Smile at a stranger, help a friend in need, and let’s be the Church, because when you open your door you are now entering the mission field.
This video is just proof of these nurses doing just that!
