As more and more photos emerge showing this new reality of returning to school post-pandemic, it begs the question:

What will reopening schools look like in America come Fall?

A new poll conducted by RealClear Opinion Research found that 40 percent of American families are more likely to use homeschool or virtual school for childhood education moving forward, meaning we could see less students returning to buildings.

“Every single family with kids in school has been incredibly disrupted by the lockdowns,” said John Schilling, president of the American Federation of Children. “With 55 million students no longer in their normal educational setting, families are clearly considering new options and many are seeing the benefits of homeschooling and virtual schooling.”

With most schools across America remaining closed through the end of the school year, it’s hard to know what things will look like by September. But it’s safe to say, social distancing will be the new norm, and hybrid schooling is on the rise.
