4. Today is the 5th anniversary of the Sandy Hook mass shooting
Today marks 5 years since 20 first graders and 6 educators were gunned down while at school in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. I remember that day five years ago when I saw on Twitter that my blogging friend Victoria’s niece and nephew attended the school and that her nephew was unaccounted for. Hours later simply the announcement “he’s gone” confirmed the worst. His name was Noah Pozner. For me, Noah has always made this tragedy very real and I’ve got his family and all the families in my prayers today as we remember. Remember all the very real people in Sandy Hook who are still grieving today.
