Travis Kelce Wins Over Moms Across the Internet, Calls Out the Unseen “Mental Load”

Two-time Super Bowl champ and Kansas City Chiefs all-time leading receiver Travis Kelce, also known as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, is wowing women – specifically moms – for a new reason this week. On his podcast “New Heights,” Travis showed that he gets what moms go through for their families while interviewing (and poking fun at) his brother, Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce.

Travis and Jason, a married father of three, were discussing Jason’s overly-casual look at the premier of his documentary, Kelce. Travis literally cry-laughs while razzing his brother for attempting to blame his wife, Kylie, for forgetting his jeans. It’s beyond hilarious! In a video posted to Instagram, you can see the whole exchange, and watch the realization come across Jason’s face that yeah, his wife was probably a little too busy parenting three girls under five to remember to bring her husband his pants.

The hilarious back and forth between brothers went like this:

“I was gonna have jeans on but Kylie …” Jason said.

“Kylie what?” Travis shot back.

“Kylie was running late. I just came straight from football. Kylie was going to bring the jeans. Kylie was late,” Jason said.

Travis then responded with the question literally all wives and moms were asking:

“Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?”

Jason continued trying to defend himself, saying  “Because I was at football. And I needed the jeans for after football. I’m not going to wear jeans all day. That just doesn’t sound fun.”

Meanwhile, Travis is dying of laughter, knowing his brother is digging his own grave.

Jason’s expression changes and he sees the humor in it too, admitting, “Alright I’m realizing now, I probably can’t blame Kylie for this. Soooo, yeah, I wore shorts and sandals.”

But Travis wasn’t going to let his brother off that easily! Still cracking up, he adds, “She was too busy putting jeans on the three girls.”

Jason continues to realize the error of his ways, conceding, “Yeah, she was too busy getting the entire family situated with the babysitter and then getting herself ready and making sure her parents are with her.”
