“I am thanking God and I’m just grateful and so I want the world to know that he is amazing and he’s a hero in my book, whether he’s a hero in anyone else’s or not. And I am sure when King gets old enough to hear the story he will think he is a hero as well,” Nechole said.
Nix was thankful, too, that he was there to help. “I remember praying, thanking God for putting me in the right place, at the right time for the right reason,” Nix said.

As a mom, I can honestly say that just watching Crowell’s distress in the video brought me to tears — I am SO glad they converted to happy tears after I saw the pictures of Officer Nix cuddling a recovering Kingston! I too and so thankful he was in the right place at the right time. God clearly has big plans for Kingston, and I can’t wait to see what they will be.
