Don’t get me wrong, motherhood has been good to me. You can’t stay pregnant forever, and the reward of those sweet little babes is greater than any benefit of being pregnant.
I wouldn’t get pregnant again now, even if science made it possible and you paid me a lot of money. That season has passed. And I’m happy to report that parenting keeps getting better as kids get older. So, while it’s fun to remember those nine months, I wouldn’t go back. Because each today beats any yesterday...by a mile.
