6 Hours Into My Labor, My Nurse Ran Into the Room and Started Yelling

I have to choose to trust that God is good, even in the moments when I really just don’t understand why some things happen the way they do.

If you are facing something today that feels unfair, discouraging or even heartbreaking, remember that the Lord is near to the broken-hearted and the crushed in spirit.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Rev. 21:4

This moment holding Saxon for the first time next to his precious daddy will always remind me that beauty comes from ashes. In moments of fear or doubt, there is only One in control and only One who gives real, unending hope.
