I’m on an airplane for work right now contemplating my working mom life.
You guys, I have been just about ALL the types of moms.
I have been a part-time working mom OUTSIDE of the home.
I have been a part-time working mom from home.
I have done the odd freelance work from home, here and there.
I was a stay-at-home ONLY mom for the better part of 7 years.
Now I work full time. From home.
All of these seasons of work were hard. Some harder than others. All of them were important. All of them were what my family needed me to be doing at the time.
For the moment, because I am in it, I want to talk about being a working mom.
Being a working mom is HARD. It is your son asking you to reserve him a historical fiction book for a book report from the library’s website as you are LITERALLY walking out the door to the airport on a business trip.
