Brown told Your Daily Dish that photographing the twins was a very emotional experience, knowing that William would not live long.
“Photographing these beautiful babies, while the little boy stared at me, looked around the room peacefully, while his sister slept, was heart wrenching. It was like little Will was trying to take it all in,” she said.
Look at that sweet face! I can only imagine how very precious these photographs are to William and Reagan’s parents. What a bittersweet longing they must feel every time they look at them, so grateful for the time they had with this darling life, so proud to be his parents, and so devastated to not have him with them here on earth.
These little sweeties were born on my son’s birthday, and that makes this story hit home to me more than ever. I share it not because it’s tragic, but because I, as I’m SURE his parents do, want William’s short, precious life to be remembered for the beauty and value it had. I know his story will impact others for good, and I pray that it finds its way to the people who need to hear it.
Prayers for this family as they heal from their loss and raise their daughter in love and in honor of their son.
