Girl Dad Wins the Internet After Bringing Home Flowers for His Daughter in Viral Video

Hearts are melting on TikTok this week over a sweet clip of a dad surprising his toddler daughter with flowers when he comes home from work.

Lachie and Steph (@lewplustwo) are a married couple from Sydney, Australia, who document the daily happenings of their little family of four on TikTok. One of their recent videos racked up a whopping 8.2 million views and counting, and it’s easy to see why.

Steph captured the moment her husband, Lachie, came home from work and surprised their oldest daughter, Pia, with flowers. The toddler, whose two favorite things are “flowies” (flowers) and her dad, heard her father entering the house and ran to the door to greet him. The couple’s younger daughter, Hallie, and the family cat followed closely behind her.

Lachie, holding an elaborate bouquet the size of his sweet little girl, kneels down to gift her the buds.

The clip cuts to the toddler hugging her dad—giving him a tight squeeze, then waddling off with her bouquet, grinning from ear to ear.

“It’s the cheesy grin at the end for me!” Steph captioned the video.

TikTokers took to the comments praising the sweet gesture, and the video that captured it.

“This is the most precious thing in the world,” one user commented.

“She’s going to have such high expectations for the future men in her life,” another wrote.

Others shared memories about their own fathers coming home from work, and how the video reminded them of Pia’s same joy.

“I used to hide when my dad got home and then run out and jump on him and give him a big hug,” one viewer wrote.

“My dad coming home from work was the best part of my childhood,” another recalled.
