Dennis Quaid Stars in Netflix Movie ‘Blue Miracle’ Based on Inspiring True Story of Faith

Families Love ‘Blue Miracle’

According to Common Sense Media, “Blue Miracle” is an “uplifting film based on a true story that has a generally light tone and a happy ending but also some potentially scary scenes and themes.”

Parents rate the film as appropriate for kids ages seven and older. One parent said, “There are a few choice words and alcohol use but overall a really great movie for all ages. I have 6 kids ages 14 down to 4 and they all enjoyed it. Thank you to the creators of this movie as there are so few truly family films made these days.”

“i liked it! some parts there was violence like where the fish died, so if your kids are animal lovers or are just sensitive, you might want to have them skip that part (then again, it’s a fishing movie so you might want to just not). i love how the man did the right thing but they won anyway, and how the old guy softened up (and the sour teenager),” one child commented.
