Gregoire notes, and I fully agree, that the Church has basically been telling Christian girls for decades that having sex before marriage SPOILS them sexually (and let’s be honest, in general) for the rest of their earthly lives—a message that Christ’s blood shed for ALL our sins simply contradicts. She also notes the disparity in the messages given to Christian boys versus the message given to Christian girls, and while the message isn’t necessarily wrong, it sure as heck isn’t EQUAL, either.
