It’s been a long time coming friends, but Election Day 2020 is finally here. What better way to reward yourself for hitting the polls than with Election Day freebies from some of your favorite eateries.
Whether you’ve already voted, or are exercising your right to do so sometime on Tuesday, you can take full advantage of these Election Day discounts and free offerings.
Here are 5 Places to Score Freebies on Election Day
1. Krispy Kreme
Stop by Krispy Kreme anytime on Tuesday to grab your free original glazed donut and special voting sticker while supplies last. The beloved chain is giving away these tasty treats in honor of “DOUGH-mocracy.”
2. Planet Fitness
Starting Tuesday, Planet Fitness is offering everyone who votes a free workout and HydroMassage through Nov. 8, to ease the stress and anxiety that this year’s election has brought. The company also is hosting a special workout Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on Facebook with “exercises and tips to de-stress after voting – a much-needed activity to help ease everyone into a post-election routine.”
3. Boston Market
Pop into Boston Market Tuesday night from 9 p.m. to close at all locations nationwide to get one free slider. No purchase necessary. The new sliders – including Chicken Cheddar, Turkey Cheddar, Chicken Chipotle and BBQ Meatloaf – are part of Boston Market’s new Late Night menu, and the perfect snack for when you need a late night break from election coverage.
4. McDonald’s
The golden arches is rolling out its new pastry items Tuesday, offering a free pastry with the purchase of a hot or iced coffee in the McDonald’s app. Although this deal kicks off on Election Day, the promotion runs through Tuesday, Nov. 9, and can be used once per day in the app. The new McCafé Bakery lineup includes an apple fritter, blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll.
5. Sonic Drive-In
Because the stress of the election is enough to deal with, make dinner a breeze Tuesday night. Get half-price cheeseburgers from 5 p.m. until restaurants close Tuesday as part of Sonic’s weekly family night.
Working the polls this year?
Badged poll workers get a free meal Tuesday from Shake Shack, Chopt Creative Salad Co., CAVA, and Zoës Kitchen. Orders have to be made in person, and proof of badge is required.
If you can’t make it out for one of these freebies on Tuesday, have no fear! Dunkin’ Donuts is bringing the Holiday Cheer early this year. Starting Wednesday, and all future Wednesdays through Dec. 23, members of the chain’s DD Perks loyalty program can get a free medium hot or iced coffee during Free Coffee Wednesdays at participating locations.
