The parade included nearly 40 vehicles, each creatively designed with posters and balloons.
Etchison said she had her daughter drive the parade route so she could wave and take video during the joyful event.
“It was really special for everyone involved,” Etchison said, adding that she saw both current and former students along the route.
“We need this as much as they need this.”
