“…lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” Ephesians 4:1-2
Lord, help us lead lives worthy of Your calling for us, as a family and as individuals. Help us be humble and gentle, being patient with each other and making allowances for each other’s faults.
18. PROVERBS 11:3
“Honesty guides good people; dishonesty destroys treacherous people.” Proverbs 11:3
Lord, we know honesty and integrity are key traits of lives that glorify You. May our family be characterized by them. Convict us by Your Spirit whenever we speak or act dishonestly, and help us walk in truth.
19. PSALM 90:14, 16-17
“Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. Let us, your servants, see you work again; let our children see your glory. And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful.” Psalm 90:14, 16-17
Lord, satisfy us each morning with Your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy. Open our eyes to see you at work in our lives, and help us teach our children to be more aware of Your glory. Show us Your approval, and make our Kingdom efforts successful.
20. PROVERBS 14:26
“Those who fear the Lord are secure; he will be a refuge for their children.” Proverbs 14:26
Lord, thank You that even in the midst of a very uncertain world, we can rest secure in knowing You are in control and are a refuge for our children.
21. LUKE 16:13
“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” Luke 16:13
Lord, we repent of the times and ways we have served money rather than serving You. Give us wisdom and Godly perspective on money so we can manage our finances in a way that serves Your Kingdom and brings You glory.
22. 1 JOHN 4:4
“But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” 1 John 4:4
Lord, we declare that the Spirit who lives in us is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. Thank You for the reminder that we have victory through You.
