Y’all, if that doesn’t give you goosebumps, I don’t know what will!
The video was posted Tuesday by Wayne Christian School parents, Chris and Paris Verme, who said that all of the students in kindergarten through 6th grade gathered in the hallway and prayed in preparation for Hurricane Florence before singing these powerful words.
Since being posted on Tuesday, September 11th, (which seems symbolic in and of itself), the video has been viewed 1.2 million times, with over 30,000 shares on Facebook.
As Hurricane Florence does her thing over the next few days, I can’t think of a more encouraging reminder of the Lord’s promises to us. He alone is in control. His love surrounds us, and it will not forsake us.
Remembering those truths is all my soul needs to find peace, even in the midst of destruction. I’m praying today that it does the same for you!
