I remember the days of crying all the way home…

As a mom who now has adult children—who made it through the trenches of having a strong-spirited child, Lysa offers up some advice to the mama who is struggling.
“Those things that might aggravate you about your child today? Those might be the very things, when matured, that will make them great for God’s Kingdom tomorrow,” she writes. “Keep loving them. Keep praying for them. Keep leading them.”
Lysa then listed three “simple mothering perspectives” that God graciously gave her in raising her own children, with the hope that other parents would hold onto the same Truths.
1. Don’t take too much credit for their good.
2. Don’t take too much credit for their bad.
3. Don’t try to raise a good child. Raise a God-following adult.
“Take heart, sweet parents pouring your hearts and lives out daily … you’re doing better than you think you are!”
