When in Doubt, Use the Gentle Cycle

Also, when in doubt, breath (deeply).

When in doubt, pause.
When in doubt, pray.
When in doubt, laugh.
When in doubt, go for a walk.
When in doubt, take a nap.
When in doubt, text a friend.
When in doubt, hold on.
When in doubt, hope.

And if all else fails (or, even better, before all else fails), when in doubt, ask your mother. Or ask a mother. We like to give advice.

But we’ll try to do it gently.
