All Baby Mamas Need to See This Genius Car Seat Hack For Infant Carriers

Car seats are FANTASTIC for keeping our babies safe in the car—one of the great inventions of this modern age for sure. Infant carried car seats also great for seamlessly transporting baby from car to house or stroller—but sometimes carrying that seat can put a real strain on the postpartum body! (I know for me, after the birth of my first child I developed a carpal-tunnel-like postpartum injury to my left wrist and car seat carrying was agony for awhile!) That’s why even though my car seat-carrying days are long behind me, I knew I had to share this great car seat hack when I saw it!

Bridge Family Chiropractic shared this car seat hack in a short video on YouTube and Facebook. It shows that by looping your arm through the car seat handle and grasping it on its underside instead of simply hooking the infant carrier handle over the center of your arm, you can save a lot of strain on your arm and back.
