Krasinski covered everything from the heroism of the global healthcare community to people everywhere living out the true meaning of being a good neighbor.
And that’s not all! Halfway through the broadcast, Krasinski brought in fellow former The Office co-star, Steve Carell to mark the 15th anniversary of the hit TV show!
The two exchanged laughs and discussed the success and memories of the arguably greatest television show to grace our screens in the new millennium.
Krasinski closed out the good news roundup with a story about a 15-year-old girl from California returned home from her final round of chemotherapy treatments and was greeted with an INCREDIBLE social distancing party to celebrate. Coco, otherwise known as Krasinski’s newest hero, sat down and talked to the actor about the surprise.
Krasinski took to Twitter praising fans, saying he’s “totally blown away” by the response to SGN. “So you keep sending me #SomeGoodNews and making me smile… and I’ll keep trying to return the favor,” he wrote.

We could all use a dose of good news this week. And the only thing better than hearing good news, is the interconnectedness that it brings with it. During this time of isolation, anxiety and worry, I’m thankful this week for actors and jokesters like John Krasinski who know the value of bringing a smile to peoples’ faces.
