Last week, For Every Mom brought you the incredible story of Angela Primachenko, a mom who, while fighting for her life in a medically induced coma, gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
On Thursday, the 27-year-old was finally healthy enough to hold that sweet baby girl for the first time.

As previously reported, Primachenko was first diagnosed with COVID-19 in late March. At the time, she was 33-weeks pregnant with her second child.
The virus was so aggressive that the young mom from Vancouver, Washington was hooked up to a ventilator and placed in a medically induced coma. It was during that time when doctors decided to induce labor as a way to give both mom and baby a better chance at life.
Thankfully, it worked.
Primachenko, who called herself “a miracle walking,” survived the coronavirus and was released from the hospital after 17 days in the ICU—10 of which, she was intubated.

Though she had recovered and been sent home, Primachenko still had not met her daughter, Ava, who was in the neonatal intensive care unit at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.
Ava did not test positive for COVID-19, but doctors required her fighting mama to have two straight negative tests before they would let her visit her baby.
On April 16th, that day finally came.
