Target Black Friday Deals are LIVE as Store Announces New ‘Skip-the-Line’ Checkout

It’s no secret that Christmas comes earlier every year. Halloween was only like a second ago and already stores are gearing up for the busy holiday season.

As Black Friday quickly approaches, stores are doing whatever they can to make holiday shopping as quick and painless as possible.

Target announced this week its plan for “Skip-the-Line” checkout, which is set to roll out with Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving Day.

The objective is to place sales associates in the busiest departments to have more kiosks available for quicker checkout.

The strategy is not just convenient but ACTUALLY genius, because every woman living in 2018 knows the struggle that is getting out of Target with only what you came for. The more opportunities they give me to pay quickly, the more impulse buys I’m guaranteed to make this holiday season.

Oh, a warm plush throw to sit by the fire with? Why yes, I need that in my life. All the things that will make me more like Joanna Gaines? Why wait until Christmas if I don’t even have to wait in a line?

Target announced the mobile checkout technology last week, unveiling it’s Target Black Friday ad with select deals that are already available.

Target Black Friday deals are set to start Thanksgiving morning. Stores will open at  5 p.m. and run through 1 a.m. on Friday. Stores will then re-open at 7 a.m.

Target Black Friday shoppers who spend $50 online or in stores or scan the wallet feature in the Target mobile app will receive a 20% discount that can be applied November 27 through December 8. Target is also offering Weekend Deals starting November 10.

Target REDcard holders get online access to early deals starting on November 21.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Target is also offering FREE 2-day shipping all holiday season long!
