This End-of-School-Year “Firework” Anthem Is What Every Exhausted Parent NEEDS Right Now

This end of school year Katy Perry “Firework” remake by the Holderness Family is nothing short of EPIC.

As a work-at-home mom, my life gets a little complicated when my kids are home from school on summer break.

AND YET, I have NEVER been more ready for the end of school year than I am RIGHT NOW! Projects, field trips, agenda-signing, and having to have a special shirt clean for every field trip x 3 has DONE ME IN.

I’ve got a babysitter lined up for summer and I’m READY for a break from the morning hustle and bustle and the uniform laundry! (Although let me be clear, I LOVE uniforms. Non-uniform “Spirit” days are my nemesis.)

The Holderness Family has GOT MY BACK—and that of all exhausted parents—with this hysterical Katy Perry “Firework” parody about the end of school year. I am not even kidding you, I legit LOLed no less than six times while watching this less-than-three-minute video. PREACH IT!

5 more days for us…how long until your kids’ summer break??
