Funnyman John Crist is getting the praise of parents all over the internet this week with his most recent bit, “Every Parent at Disney.”
Per usual, the comedian hits the nail on the head with his all-too-relatable collaboration of quips that any parent could be caught saying as they trot their small army around The “Happiest Place on Earth.”
“Forty-five dollars for bedazzled mouse ears? Baby, you want these or you want to go to college?”
Poking fun at everything from the ambitious morning start to the sweltering heat, the lines that go “to infinity and beyond,” and the overpriced souvenirs, John Crist effortlessly encompasses every thought, nag and dad joke we could ever need in just two short minutes of laughter.
“No, you cannot have Goofy-shaped chicken nuggets. Sit down. Your mother brought ham sandwiches.”
Crist takes every opportunity to find hilarity in the reality that is both being a parent and doing your best to keep your sanity while making memories that will last a lifetime.
“Hurry up. Make believe your feet aren’t sore. This is Disney, use your imagination.”
I think the most relatable thing about John Crist’s comedy isn’t so much that you’ve said all of these things yourself (although, I like to think I’m this funny), but more so that you can literally imagine the person who would say these things!
