Again and again.
We bowed our heads and prayed together. Slowly the tears dried, a smile slipped back into place, and a new confidence settled across her shoulders. She sat up straight, leaned forward and finished her work.
I AM SO DUMB.
Friends, this is not an isolated incident. Girls the same age as my daughter across the world are at the age when the enemy attacks so severely at their image, their intelligence, their personality. Anything that makes them unique becomes a red hot target for Satan. He wants our daughters.
He can’t have them.
Fight for your girl.
We must fall on our knees, hurling spiritual darts at the enemy where it hurts, calling on the power God had given in [H]is children, the Holy Spirit. This is a spiritual battle and it isn’t over.
My daughter is worth it and so is yours.
Father, thank you for the precious gift of a daughter. As she continues to grow in age, may she grow in truth and wisdom. May she constantly be reminded she is created in your image and she’s amazing. She’s a diamond in the rough being daily transformed into the woman you’ve called her to be. May I be the mother she needs, speaking life into her and pointing her to you always. Lord, let us not be swayed by doubt and insecurity but be filled with your spirit and fulfill our purpose. Help us trust you in all things. In Jesus’ name, amen.
