One of the most amazing things about social media is the ability to interact candidly with friends and fans and it felt so weird knowing what I was going through but not really feeling like it was the right place to speak on it. She has the perfect life. Married to singer John Legend, Chrissy Tiegen is a model, cookbook author and twitter snap-back extraordinaire. Not to mention she’s about as real about mom-life as it can possibly get.
But none of that mattered after the Hollywood starlet gave birth to her first child, she and John’s daughter, Luna.
“I didn’t think it could happen to me. I have a great life. I have all the help I could need. But postpartum does not discriminate,” the 31-year-old wrote in Glamour. “I’m speaking up now because I want people to know it can happen to anybody and I don’t want people who have it to feel embarrassed or to feel alone.”
