Shout Out to the Girls Who Know There’s Room for Everyone

shout out

Shout out to the girls who refuse to be part of the conversation that starts with, “Well I heard that she (insert negative rumor here…)”

Shout out to the girls who have the courage not to gossip, judge and form opinions based on false assumptions or even more BOLDLY stand up for those spoken ill of.

Shout out to the girls who recognize their flaws, stand firm in their beliefs and carry on with their dreams anyway.⠀

shout out

Shout out the girls who are confident enough to know that success is not one size fits all and there is room enough for everyone to win. ⠀

You the real MVP.

A tribe like that is hard to find.

So when you find those people, love on them, lift them and root for them. ⠀

Celebrate their wins knowing that your encouragement was a part of their victory.

How good does it feel to straight-up Arsenio-Hall-style root for her to win?

Go on with your bad self, Boo!

Rooting for you!

Collab > Competition.

Amen. Amen. Amen.

Katy Ursta
Hey all!  I am Katy Ursta married to my college sweetheart for 12 years, a mom of two boys, and a stage four cancer survivor. I started writing as a way of coping with my diagnosis, but found the more I shared about cancer, the more universal cancer became, and the more connected I felt to others and the less isolated I felt through the struggle.  I own a virtual health and wellness company and commit to helping my clients find a deeper motivation to fight for their own health. When I am not in the stands of my sons' hockey games, I am usually found folding the never ending piles of laundry, looking for the matching sock, breaking up hockey fights, or (let's just be honest) with my hand buried in the bag of chocolate, asking the question, "what do you want for dinner?"  You can find more of my work on Facebook, Instagram, or on my website.
