Mom’s Passive Aggressive Lunch Bag Notes to Her Teens Leaves the Internet Rolling

We’ve all done it. You pack the kids their lunch for the day, and include sweet little handwritten lunch bag notes on a napkin to remind them just how much you love them.

Well one mom is taking lunch bag notes to a whole new level, and it literally has the internet rolling in laughter.

Whitney Cicero knows all about the stresses of being a mom. The mother of a 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son is in the THICK of this mommin’ thing, and often turns to laughter to get her through the days.

Cicero, who writes and creates videos on her own blog, The New Stepford, recently began writing what she calls “passive aggressive lunch bags” for her kids as a way to unleash her own internal dialogue which she deemed too funny not to share.

“Fortnite is not a career choice,” reads one lunch bag.

“I can’t wait for you to drive either,” says another.

My personal favorite has to be: “Just pretend it’s Chipotle.”

You guys, this mom is a complete SAVAGE, and we are SO here for it!

As it turns out, Cicero wasn’t the only one getting a good laugh out of the lunch bag notes. Her teenage daughter encouraged her to share photos of the bags on social media after her high school classmates created a routine around wanting to see her lunch bag every day.

Since then, she’s even begun taking orders for the highly sought-after brown paper bags.
